A quick game is a good game, and likewise is a review of today’s events.
A carbon copy of yesterday, except in reverse.
WE got on the board in the first with a solo shot by Joey Bats, they didn’t.
The Orioles pitched like they have when not playing the Jays, which is to mean shit. (Although in all fairness, Wade Miley wasn’t shocking, just Wade Miley)
We tacked on three more in the fourth through another Smoaky homer, and a couple of hits.
Stro Show had the start we desperately needed against the Rangers last week, seven and two-thirds (although I think that he should’ve pitched out the rest of the eighth, ride or die), with no earned runs, only six reaching base with no-one in scoring position and 8 strikeouts.
We are now three games off of .500, and with Ubaldo Jimenez up tomorrow against J.A, we should make that two games off.
